Antique English Charles II style oak and tiger oak swing-leg dining table. Measures 72 inches long x 24 inches wide x 29.5 inches high. There are two 24-inch drop leaves which when raised make the table 72 inches round. Hand block planed, wooden pin construction. This is one of the finest quality dining tables we have ever handled. Note the double swing legs that support the leaves. These allow for easy chair clearance and extra support. Lovely condition.
Ashlen set of six knuckle-arm sack back Windsor chairs in crackle black finish. The two master chairs have comb tops. Excellent condition with normal traces of usage. The two comb-top chairs measure 47.5" high to the back, 28.75" high to the arms, 17.5" high to the seat, 28.5" wide and 17.5" deep; the other four chairs each measure 41.75" high to the back, 28.25" high to the arms, 17.5" high to the seat, 26" wide and 17.5 inches deep". Ashlen Windsor Chair Company no longer produces hand crafted chairs. The company was located in Northport, AL. They produced and marketed fine Windsor chairs since 1983 and stopped a few years ago. Using a basic split-wedge construction, their American and English style Windsors were built in traditional fashion. The American Windsors were crafted using an original three wood construction. Native 2" white pine seats are deeply saddle-carved and individually shaped. Hard maple legs and stretchers offer strength and support. Oak spindles and bendings give each chair its flexibility.

American Federal period American tall chest with 8 graduated drawers. Excellent condition. Signed in chalk by the maker and marked XIX for 1809. Oval inlay, inset wooden key escutcheons, and hand block-planed original back boards set with rose head nails. All original base glue blocks set with rose head nails. Wide hand-cut dovetailed drawers and single board top. All the drawers work effortlessly, no over-worn drawer slides. This is one of the most original pieces we have offered. Measures 60" high x 44/40" wide x 21/18.74" deep.
Eldred Wheeler tiger maple double settee in the Chippendale style of 1780 to 1790. Measures 59" wide x 21" deep; 40" high to the back, 26.5" high to the arms, and 20' high to the seat. Wooden pin construction, carved center shells. Like new condition. Eldred Wheeler was established in 1977 and is no longer in business.
