Original Watercolor by Peter Helck of car race with no u turn sign,"Peter Helck" watercolors are rare and highly collected.This watercolor by "Helck" depicts a race where two drivers have just turned where it states No U Turn. Period Antique English Chippendale furniture, "Pembroke table" English rosette & ribbon carved mahogany Pembroke table c1780 to 1790. This Pembroke table is truly beautiful made from the finest mahogany with rosette and ribbon carving. This table was made by a true master craftsman with its shaped leaves with hand craved edges. Some old minor repairs but other wise in excellent condition with an enhanced old finish. This period Chippendale pembroke measures 32 inches long by 20 inches wide. The two leaves measure 8 and one quarter inches and it is 28 and one eight inches high. The drawer is 18 and one eight inches wide and two and one half inches deep.

Handmade English dining table with banded inlay c1975. This dining table is of superior quality. the single top has the finest mahogany. The banded inlay is a hand painted design. The base is solid mahogany and is held with four large solid brass bolts. Measures 75 and one half inches long by 50 and one half inches wide and 29 and one half inches high. Original finish. Some minor surface use marks.

Oil painting on canvas by expressionist artist Jon Schueler. Modern Art painting by artist "Jon Schueler" abstract oil on canvas, entitled "Yellow Sky",This abstract American impressionist landscape was painted by Jon Schueler while he lived in Chester Connecticut in the 1960's. Born 1916, died 1992. The painting measures 54 inches by 59 inches.There has just been a book published about Jon Schueler and his work entitled "The Sound of Sleat" edited by Magda Salvesen and Diane Cusineau published by Picador New York. It mentions Schueler in Mallaig Vaig, Chester CT and his connection with Elise (whos home he stayed at while he painted this painting). Jon Schueler was taught by Clyfford Still and Willem de Kooning. See Who Was Who in American Art page 2941 where there is huge biography on the artist. Jon Schueler was one of the best artists of his day. He exhibited at the major galleries, hung out with the important collectors,dealers in New York City and was a very important part of the Abstract expressionist movement that took place in New York in the 1950 to 1960 period and had many exhibitions at the countries premier galleries of the day.

Early American New England country two piece flat top highboy. This highboy is all original except the brasses which are period reproductions. Made most probably in New Hampshire from birch with a hand waxed patina. Measures 74 and one quarter inches high, 36 and one half inches wide at base, and 36 and one half inches at the top drawers. The top is 20 inches deep and the bottom is 22 inches. Early 19th century.
